- Working on the propulsion of the VTOL
- Determining propulsion configuration for both hover and forward flight mode
- Selecting suitable batteries, motors, rotors, etc.
- Analysis of the power requirements
What will you do?
- Use your degree knowledge in practice
- Design parts, sub-assemblies or even full assemblies
- Run simulations to learn about structural or aerodynamic performance
- Build prototypes, test, analyse outcomes
What skills are welcomed?
- Good knowledge of CAD, Excel, Matlab
- Capable of working in a team as well as on individual tasks
- Independent design work even in an unknown filed
- Experience designing and prototyping RC planes / UAVs or any vehicles
- Experience flying RC planes
